About
Rabbi Eli and Chaya Citron (along with their daughter Leah) moved to Portland in the fall of 2022 to establish Chabad on Campus SW Portland.

We are a Jewish Student Center serving the Jewish community in the urban Colleges throughout SW Portland, including Portland State University, Oregon Health and Science University, and Portland Community College, with the main focus being on Lewis and Clark.

We accept every Jew. Whether you're religious or not affiliated at all, whether you eat a bagel with lox every day, or have never heard of pastrami on rye, we're here for you.

Our goal is to support the Jewish student community by providing opportunities to get in touch with our heritage. Including educational classes, holiday programming, communal experiences, Jewish retreats, and sometimes just being a listening ear. We are here for you, welcome to your Jewish home away from home!
