About
Rabbi Eli and Chaya Citron (along with their daughter Leah) moved to Portland in the fall of 2022 to establish Chabad on Campus SW Portland.

We are a Jewish Student Center serving the Jewish community in the urban Colleges throughout SW Portland, including Portland State University, Oregon Health and Science University, and Portland Community College, with the main focus being on Lewis and Clark.

We accept every Jew. Whether you're religious or not affiliated at all, whether you eat a bagel with lox every day, or have never heard of pastrami on rye, we're here for you.

Our goal is to support the Jewish student community by providing opportunities to get in touch with our heritage. Including educational classes, holiday programming, communal experiences, Jewish retreats, and sometimes just being a listening ear. We are your one stop shop for everything Jewish!

This website is under construction, so stay tuned, subscribe to our mailing list, and follow us on Instagram for the latest updates. instagram.com/jewish_and_clark

On Sukkot, that divine, supernal delight reappears in our world, much as a cloud condenses from the vapor rising from the sea. And it manifests as the branches and...
